(2R,3R)-7,3,4-Trihydroxy-5-methoxy-flavanonol inhibits cancer cell growth with dose-dependent cytotoxic activity, and its anticancer activity is comparable to that of Cisplatin (HY-17394). (2R,3R)-7,3,4-Trihydroxy-5-methoxy-flavanonol can be used in research on liver cancer and other types of cancer.
