Nucleoside Phosphorylase participates in three metabolic pathways: purine metabolism, pyrimidine metabolism, and nicotinic acid and nicotinamide metabolism. Its two substrates are purine nucleosides and phosphates, and its two products are purines and alpha-D-ribose-1-phosphate.
