Tripeptide-10 citrulline mimics the sequence and activity of decorin to bind collagen fibrils, regulate fibrillogenesis, control the diameter of collagen fibrils and the lateral assembly of collagen molecules, and improve the uniformity of fibril diameter. Tripeptide-10 citrulline improves skin microtopography, reduces transepidermal water loss, enhances skin softness and elasticity, and increases the cohesiveness of collagen fibers. Tripeptide-10 citrulline can be used in studies related to skin aging/wrinkles[1][2].
