Maximin 45 is an antimicrobial peptide. Maximin 41 has antibacterial activity against S. aureus, E. coli, B. subtilis (MIC: 4.7, 9.4, 75 µg/mL). Maximin 45 has hemolytic activities against human and rabbit red cells[1].
