MFAP4 is part of the microfibril-associated glycoprotein (MFAP) family and is involved in cell adhesion, cell-cell interactions, and the assembly and/or maintenance of elastic fibers. MFAP4 deficiency alleviates renal fibrosis by inhibiting NF-kappaB and TGF-beta/Smad signaling pathways. MFAP4 is a novel biomarker for human cancer. MFAP4 Protein, Cynomolgus (HEK293, His) is the recombinant cynomolgus-derived MFAP4 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.
