Tryptase alpha/beta 1 protein (TPSAB1) belongs to a family of trypsin-like serine proteases, and is enzymatically active and get involved in proteolysis only as heparin-stabilized tetramers, TPSAB1 is also resistant to all known endogenous proteinase inhibitors. Beta tryptase appears to be the main isoenzymes expressed in mast cells, while alpha tryptase is predominate in basophils. TPSAB1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived TPSAB1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.
