IL-16 is a modulator in inflammatory processes and tumorigenesis. IL16 can bind to the CD4 molecule and activate monocytes and stimulates the secretion of inflammatory cytokines. Besides, IL16 can induce expression of IL2Ralpha and beta, and synergize with IL2 to augment CD4+ T cell activation and proliferation. IL16 can induce migration in CD4+ lymphocytes, monocytes, and eosinophils as a chemoattractant factor[1][2][3]. Animal-Free IL-16 Protein, Mouse (His) is the recombinant mouse-derived animal-FreeIL-16 protein, expressed by E. coli , with C-His labeled tag.This product is for cell culture use only.
