VISTA/B7-H5 Protein is a B7 family member that maintains T cell and myeloid quiescence and is a promising target for combination cancer immunotherapy. VISTA not only acts as a ligand expressed on antigenpresenting cells, but also functions as a receptor on T cells. VISTA inhibits T cell activation, proliferation, and cytokine production.
