FAP Protein is a type II transmembrane serine protease, a member of the propionyl peptidase family, that promotes cell invasion and tumor growth. FAP protein has the function of enhancing blood coagulation. FAP Protein is associated with a variety of human pathology, including fibrosis, arthritis, atherosclerosis, autoimmune diseases, metabolic diseases and cancer.
