IL-17A is a homodimeric cytokine and plays a critical role in host defense mechanisms against many bacterial and fungal pathogens as well as allergic and autoimmune responses. IL-17A induces the production of antimicrobial peptides, cytokines, chemokines, and matrix metalloproteinases[1][2]. IL-17A Protein, Marmoset is a recombinant marmoset IL-17A protein is expressed in E. coli. It consists of 134 amino acids (I20-A153).
