Fucose deficiency enhances the antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) effect of the antibody.Inebilizumab (FUT8-KO) exhibits enhanced ADCC against B cells and can be used for research on multiple sclerosis and neuromyelitis optica[1][2].
