Efzimfotase alfa functions by hydrolyzing the substrates of TNSALP, reducing the concentrations of substrates such as inorganic pyrophosphate (PPi) and pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (PLP). Efzimfotase alfa is promising for research of hypophosphatasia (HPP)[1][2].
