N,N-Diethylacetamide is a NF-kappaB inhibitor that suppresses the expression of NO and iNOS, downregulates key inflammatory factors such as TNF-alpha and IL-6, but does not affect the MAPK pathway. N,N-Diethylacetamide can be used to study inflammatory preterm birth. N,N-Diethylacetamide also acts as a polar solvent, which is widely used in film and fiber manufacturing and serves as a carrier for water-insoluble chemicals in laboratories.
