Anti-Avian Influenza Hemagglutinin 1 antibody was prepared from whole goat serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to 14 amino acids in the internal region of the Avian Influenza Hemagglutinin 1 protein. Efforts were made to use relatively conserved regions of the viral sequence as the antigen.

Anti-Avian Influenza Hemagglutinin 1 Antibody has been tested for use in ELISA. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band at approximately 64 kDa in Western Blots of specific cell lysates and tissues.
Western Blot Validation with H5N1 HA Protein. Load: 30 ng H5N1 Hemagglutinin recombinant protein. Primary antibody: Avian Influenza H5N1 HA antibody at 4µg/mL for 1h at RT in 5% NFDM/TBST. Secondary: Rabbit anti-goat IgG HRP conjugate at 1:10,000 dilution.
