Correlation circles representing the association between immune measurements for each farmland-year sub-group of tree swallow nestlings studied in southern Quebec, Canada, 2010-2011. Immune measures included the response to PHA (PHA), the bacteria killing capacity (B. killing), the hemolysis and hemagglutination scores and the percentage of lymphocytes. The horizontal and vertical axes represent PC1 and PC2 of a principal component analysis applied to each farmland-year sub-group. The lengths of the vectors indicate the strengths of the relationships.
