Non-viable cell pellet was generated from cell line WM1789. WM1789 is a human melanoma cell line originally isolated from a human primary radial growth phase melanoma. WM1789 cells produce xenograft tumors when injected into immunocompromised mice. This line carries the K601E and S363F mutation in BRAF, and is hemizygous deleted for PTEN.
