Non-viable cell pellet was generated from cell line WM3629. WM3629 is a metastatic human melanoma cell line that displays a mesenchymal and dendritic morphology. This cell line was established from a lymph node metastasis site of a patient. This cell line contains a D549G mutation in the BRAF gene resulting in an amino acid substitution from aspartic acid to glycine at codon 549 (Asp549Gly). These cells also express G12D mutation in the N-RAS gene resulting in substitution of glycine with aspartic acid at codon 12 (Gly12Asp).WM3629 cells produce xenograft tumors when injected into immunocompromised mice.
