LasR-IN-5 (compound 3C) acts as an antagonist of LasR with an IC50 of 1.37 µM, exhibiting a 77% inhibition in the formation of Pseudomonas biofilms. Moreover, LasR-IN-5 also demonstrates inhibitory activity against quorum sensing (QS) and is applicable in infection research.
