LZZ-02 inhibits the transcriptional activity of beta-catenin by stabilizing axin 2 and reducing the levels of downstream proteins, including c-Myc and cyclin D1, which leads to the degradation of beta-catenin. This results in the effective reduction of tumor xenografts derived from colon cell lines.
