Gardiquimod (hydrochloride) is an imidazoquinoline class TLR7/8 agonist. It can inhibit HIV-1 infection in macrophages and activated peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs). At concentrations below 10 µM, Gardiquimod (hydrochloride) specifically activates TLR7.
