BS-153 is a novel synthetic oxazolidinone drug that exhibits anti-inflammatory effects by blocking the activation of the NF-kappaB/PKCtheta pathway. It can suppress the expression levels of iNOS, COX-2, and pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-alpha, IL-1beta, and IL-6) in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 cells.
