Anti-inflammatory agent 66 (compound 8) is a pterostilbene derivative with anti-inflammatory properties. It inhibits pro-inflammatory cytokines by blocking the LPS-induced NF-kappaB/MAPK signaling pathway and effectively alleviates DSS-induced acute colitis in mice.
