TAMRA-PEG2-N3 is a derivative of the TAMRA dye containing four PEG units. It has an azide group that can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions (CuAAc) with molecules bearing alkyne groups. Additionally, it can participate in strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
