Cy3-PEG3-exo-BCN is a derivative of the Cyanine 3 (Cy3) dye that includes three polyethylene glycol (PEG) units. It contains a lipophilic bidentate macrocyclic ligand, BCN, which can be used to synthesize macrocyclic complexes. In click chemistry, exo-BCN can react with azide-containing molecules to form stable triazoles under catalyst-free conditions.
