BHEPN is an inhibitor of vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2 (VEGFR-2), exhibiting an inhibitory effect with an IC50 value of 0.320 µM. It also demonstrates significant cytotoxic activity against HepG2 and MCF-7 cancer cell lines, with IC50 values of 0.19 µM and 1.18 µM, respectively. BHEPN is applicable for cancer research.
