Anticanceragent 178 (compound C2) is a potent anticancer compound. It effectively inhibits the proliferation and metabolic activity of MDA-MB 231 cells, with IC50 values of 1.1 and 4.2 µM, respectively. Additionally, Anticanceragent 178 induces ferroptosis and necroptosis in cells.
