AF 555 carboxylic acid is a derivative of the orange fluorescent dye AF 555. It is widely used for cell staining, biomolecular labeling, and fluorescence tagging of particles and biomolecules. The average excitation wavelengths for AF 555 under green laser and red laser are 510 nm and 610 nm, respectively.
