Anti-inflammatory agent 72 (compound 5) is a novel resveratrol derivative hybridized with benzoyl hydrazone. It exhibits both anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities by activating Nrf2 and inhibiting the NF-kappaBp65/iNOS and MAPKs signaling pathways.
