JYQ-164 is a small-molecule inhibitor targeting human Parkinsons disease protein 7 (PARK7/DJ-1) with an IC50 value of 21 nM. It exerts its inhibitory effect by covalently and selectively targeting the key residue Cys106 of PARK7, and its inhibitory activity against PARK7 is approximately 5-fold higher than that of the previously reported inhibitor JYQ-88. JYQ-164 can be used in studies related to the mechanisms of Parkinsons disease and cancer .
