Spore germination-IN-1 (Compound 110) is an orally active spore germination inhibitor with an IC50 of 14 µM. It specifically inhibits the enzymatic activity of mature SleC and CspB on spores, with a Kd of 12 µM and 8 µM, respectively. Spore germination-IN-1 is applicable in research targeting C. difficile.
