WRN inhibitor 19 (Compound 40) is a WRN helicase inhibitor with an IC50 of 3.7 nM. It exhibits selective antiproliferative activity in WRN-dependent cancer cells by competitively binding to the ATP site to inhibit WRN helicase function, inducing DNA damage and causing cell cycle arrest. WRN inhibitor 19 is applicable for research in WRN-dependent cancers.
