XSJ110 is a potent irreversible inhibitor of topoisomerase I (Topo I) with an IC50 value of 0.133 µM. It halts the topoisomerization process of DNA, leading to double-strand breaks and inducing cell cycle arrest in the G0/G1 phase, ultimately causing apoptosis in tumor cells. XSJ110 shows potential for research in ampullary carcinoma (AC).
