CF-Carvacrol is an orally active lipid-lowering agent synthesized by combining Carvacrol and Clofibric acid. It shows strong affinity for PPAR-alpha and demonstrates significant hypolipidemic activity. Additionally, CF-Carvacrol exerts antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects by activating the Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway, thereby alleviating liver damage. This compound is applicable in research on liver injury induced by cystic fibrosis.
