ArMan is an aryl mannoside ligand that can be functionalized onto the surface of virus-like particles (VLPs) via click chemistry. VLPs can target DC-SIGN dendritic cells, promoting selective co-engagement of DC-SIGN and TLR7, and resulting in a TH1-type immune response. VLP-ArMan-OvaI/II significantly inhibits tumor growth in a mouse melanoma model.
