Manninotrionate is an antitumor compound. Manninotrionate was coupled to BSA and an antiserum to this compound-protein coupling was prepared in rabbits. The antiserum did not agglutinate Ehrlich ascites tumor cells, which have been shown to contain cell surface glycoproteins with alpha-D-galactosyl end groups.
