COQ7-IN-2 is a small molecule human COQ7 inhibitor that interferes with UQ (ubiquinone, coenzyme Q) synthesis without interfering with physiological cell growth in normal human cultured cells, with IC50 values of 7.3 µM and 15.4 µM for DMQ10 and UQ10 accumulation, respectively, and can be used as a potent tool to study the UQ complementation pathway.
