CHIKV-IN-3 is a potent inhibitor effective against two low-passage CHIKV strains, with EC50 values of 1.55 µM for CHIKV-122508 and 0.14 µM for CHIKV-6708, respectively. It targets host cells to disrupt viral replication while maintaining minimal cytotoxic liability (CC50 > 100 µM). Additionally, CHIKV-IN-3 has shown a prophylactic effect [1].
