BigLEN(mouse) TFA is a proSAAS-derived neuropeptide and GPR171 agonist that both regulates food intake in mice and inhibits the release of glutamate onto parvocellular neurons of the paraventricular nucleus, a mechanism contingent on postsynaptic G protein activation.
