LSD1-IN-31 (compound 11e) interacts directly with the LSD1/CoREST complex, inhibiting the demethylase activity of LSD1. This inhibition of LSD1 demethylase activity impacts the downstream IkappaB/NF-kappaB signaling pathway. Furthermore, LSD1-IN-31 can inhibit osteoclast-mediated bone loss both in vitro and in vivo. This compound is utilized in research on osteoporosis.
