Atigotatug (FUT8-KO) is a monoclonal antibody expressed in CHO cells, where the fucosyltransferase 8 gene (FUT8) has been knocked out. The absence of fucose enhances the antibodys ADCC effect. It targets the fucosylated ganglioside GM1 (fuc-GM1) and is an IgG1kappa type humanized antibody. Atigotatug can induce immune-mediated tumor cell death, such as in small-cell lung cancer.
