m-PEG-NHS ester (MW 3400) can be used to modify active molecules, thereby enhancing their antigenicity and immunogenicity, which is beneficial for the preparation of injectable formulations. Its modification of serine protease lumbrokinase (LK) does not affect the enzymes strong fibrinolytic and thrombolytic activities, indicating promising application prospects.
