DSPE-PEG1000-YIGSR is a PEG compound consisting of DSPE and the biomimetic peptide YIGSR. YIGSR interacts with the 67 kDa laminin-binding protein (LBP) to enhance adhesion and spreading of various cell types, including endothelial cells, fibroblasts, and smooth muscle cells. DSPE-PEG1000-YIGSR is applicable for drug delivery.
