In a tape-stripping test with isolated rabbit ear skin, LNPs with 6-trehalose monooleate encapsulating cyclosporin A predominantly accumulate in the stratum corneum rather than the epidermis and dermis. Additionally, 6-trehalose monooleate serves as an anti-aggregation agent for proteins.
