mPEG-Epoxide is an active derivative of methoxy polyethylene glycol (mPEG), created by converting the hydroxyl group of mPEG into a reactive epoxide group. As a gentle PEGylation reagent, mPEG-Epoxide can react with amines in peptides and proteins to form stable secondary amine bonds. It is applicable in protein engineering and biomaterials research.
