mPEG-Alkyne (MW 1000) is a polyethylene glycol (PEG) derivative. The alkyne group can undergo chemical reactions with azides in aqueous solutions in the presence of a monovalent copper catalyst. PEG derivatives enhance drug solubility and stability, reduce peptide immunogenicity, and offer excellent biocompatibility.
