mPEG-Alkyne (MW 3400) is a PEG derivative. Under the catalysis of monovalent copper, the alkyne reacts chemically with azide in aqueous solution. Polyethylene glycol derivatives enhance drug solubility and stability, reduce the immunogenicity of polypeptides, and offer excellent biocompatibility.
