HOOC-PEG-NH2 (MW 5000) (HOOC-PEG-Amine (MW 5000)) is a heterobifunctional PEG crosslinker designed for conjugating functional PEG to biomolecules, particles, and various material surfaces. The carboxylic group reacts with amines to form stable amide bonds and can also form unstable ester bonds with hydroxyl groups. Meanwhile, the amine group is reactive with numerous amine-reactive groups, such as succinimidyl NHS ester and aldehydes.
