HOOC-PEG-COOH (MW 1000) contains two reactive carboxyl groups that selectively react with amino groups in peptide coupling agents. It serves as an excellent crosslinker for the PEGylation of proteins and peptides, as well as for the modification of nanoparticles and surfaces.
