The PEG linker exhibits excellent hydrophilicity and water solubility. Aldehyde polyethylene glycol (DSPE) is a commonly used reactive phospholipid for attaching antibodies, peptides, or other ligands to the surfaces of liposomes and other lipid-based PEG nanoparticles.
