The PEG linker offers excellent hydrophilicity and water solubility. Aldehyde polyethylene glycol (DSPE) is a commonly used reactive phospholipid for conjugating antibodies, peptides, or other ligands to the surface of liposomes and lipid PEG nanoparticles.
